“If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell behold, thou art there” (Psalm 139:8 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible).
They may have taken prayer out of our schools, but they will never be able to remove God from our schools. David makes it clear that God is everywhere. He could not escape from the divine presence of Almighty God. He had spent time running everywhere to get away from King Saul and found God everywhere he went.
Go as high as you may or as low as you can and you will find Him! He fills all the heavens and the earth. His presence is unavoidable. He is everywhere we are.
Prayer: Lord, in spite of the laws of man, Your law remains the same and cannot be changed. Thank You for being with me everywhere I go. You are a very present help in the time of trouble.
