“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23).

No matter what we face, dear sisters, keep your unswerving hope in Jesus. Are your circumstances insurmountable? Anything is possible for our God!

My husband, Darrell, and I are going through an experience we’ve never had before. On March 21st, we sold our beautiful home on an acre in a wonderful neighborhood built around a serene lake in central Florida. We were moving away for ministry. The problem is we haven’t found a place to live. We are literally trusting God and holding unswervingly to our hope and trust in Jesus!

Every time I feel overwhelmed, which is at least a few times a day, I claim the Scripture from Isaiah 26:3: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.”

My mind is at peace as I continue to hope in the Lord.

We are blessed to stay with dear friends temporarily. As I walked my dog a few days after we arrived at their home, feeling exhausted and somewhat disheartened, I distinctly remember a sudden lift in my spirit, a shift in the atmosphere. I looked up to the sky in gratitude.

Nothing in my present circumstances changed, but something in me changed. My hope was renewed!

Sisters, whatever your circumstance, in unswerving hope, lift your voice and hands to the Lord— claiming His promises!

I love the song “Everlasting God” by William Murphy. Let us worship in hope while we declare the Word of God.

We set our hope on You, God!
