“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Psalms 122:1 My daily Bible reading today was in the book of II Chronicles, chapter 20, which records the story of David numbering Israel, and then being rebuked by the Lord for doing…
“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Psalms 122:1 Today is the last day of February. Next week it will be one year since I have been in our church building to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers. …
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet…
“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Psalm 122:1 Today is a very special day, the day we gather together in the house of the Lord to worship Him and to fellowship with our brothers and sisters. It is a…
“The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;” Psalm 20:1-2 Many years ago the Lord spoke to my heart from this Scripture, and a few months later I…

My husband has been reading a book entitled, “Branding Faith.” He read something to me that caught my attention. The Coca Cola Bottling Company wanted someone to design a bottle that could retain its distinction as a Coke even if it was crushed. In 1915 the Root Glass Company designed a bottle that would pass the crush test. Today, this bottle is the most recognized icon in the world; even in the dark. God designed His church to be the church regardless of what is happening around them. Jesus said, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible).
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for designing a church that will stand the test of time and remain the church.
