“But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed”

Isaiah 53:5

Easter this year will be so different for many of us. No family gatherings, no fellowship with church family, and no corporate worship to celebrate our risen Savior.

The importance of Easter should not be diminished. Our typical routine and schedule has been interrupted, but celebrating, showing gratitude and  rejoicing because He’s alive is essential!

Take a moment this weekend and shut yourself in with God. Thank Him for the cross and the price He paid for your life. He thought YOU were worth saving.

The cross has not lost its power.

The cross is still the center piece of the gospel.

And the cross has the final word.

Bask in His redemptive love and grace.

Thank Him for salvation.

Rejoice that He’s alive.

Tell others the good news!

Lord, I’m so thankful for the cross today. Help me to never forget what you did at Calvary for me.
