“I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” (Psalm 16:8 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.) Absorbed in the song being played on the radio, I waited for the light to turn green. The car ahead of me started moving and so did I in automatic motion. All of a sudden I looked at the light and it was still red. I stopped and waited until the light turned green to proceed. We have to be careful what is leading us. The Psalmist said that he was going to set or put the Lord out front always. Be careful who you are following. It could have been a bad scene for me had I not realized that the car ahead of me ran a red light. You never have to worry when the Lord’s out front leading you.

Prayer: Lord, today I want to place You ahead of me so that I can follow your leading. Where You lead me I want to follow. You see way down the road and know what’s best for my life.
