Psalms 19:7-9 MSG “The revelation of God is whole and pulls our lives together. The signposts of God are clear and point out the right road. The life-maps of God are right, showing the way to joy. The directions of God are plain and easy on the eyes. God’s reputation is twenty-four-carat gold,…
“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” Psalm 42:1-2 I remember when I was about six years old, my mother had to spend a…
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105 In the last few weeks, God has allowed our path of life to slow down. We may feel like we are walking in the shadows, uncertain of what lies ahead for us. We…
“Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters—a pathway no one knew was there!” Psalms 77:19 We are facing extremely uncertain times right now all across the globe. “Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.” Psalm 25:4-5 On Sunday, I had to park on the street as there were no parking…

“Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.” Psalm 139:5-6
In this Psalm David is expressing the fact that the Lord is always with him. No matter where he goes, the Lord is behind him and before him with His hand of blessing upon his head. It is almost more than he can understand.
Like David we can be assured that the Lord is there for us every hour of every day. He walks with us and directs our steps. Nothing can come near to us that is not His will. How comforting this is as we walk life’s pathway.
Prayer: Jesus I give this day into your hand. Walk with me and guide me in the right path, and make me a blessing to others.
