“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:4 We live in a fast-paced world, and technology is constantly coming forth with new inventions to save us time and energy. Recently a new type of pot has been made available which…
“O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.” Psalm 108:1 There are times when we have placed our confidence in other people, and have been disappointed. We shared something personal with them and they failed to keep our secret and spread it…
Because the Lord had closed Hannah’s womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. This went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat. (1 Samuel 1:6-7, KJV) Imagine wanting something…

“So Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Have faith in God’” (Mark 11:22, Holy Bible, New Kings James).>
There are days when nothing goes right and you question why. No milk for cereal. Traffic is intolerable. When you reach your destination, you’re confronted with more problems. Later, you come home to chaos, not peace. Your faith shrinks. When the day ends and tomorrow’s sunrise appears, those temporary events have faded in the shadows of important things. Your faith is renewed.
When the next serious situation arises, you pray but your faith is shaken again when things don’t go as anticipated. You ask, “Why didn’t God answer?”
He did. He said, “Have faith in God.”
Prayer: Lord, help me to trust in You with faith for the answers. Amen.

“I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old” (Psalm 77:11). I have a terrible memory, “Mommy brain” is what it’s called now that I have a rambunctious three-year-old who doesn’t believe sleep is a necessity. I have to make a note of…
